The foundation’s name Matthew 25:35 has been derived from holy scripture, in the first of four gospels and is the story of judgment day when the King will say to those on His right, “ Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you since from the foundations of the world. For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat...” Please read Matthew 25: 31- 46 for complete text. Then the righteous will answer Him, “Lord, when saw we thee an hungred and fed thee?...” The King will reply, “ Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Scripture is clear and states repeatedly that we as Christians should feed, clothe and help the poor, the defenseless, and the widow and orphan, most importantly, share and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Proverbs 11:30 says The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Proverbs 19:17 says He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. Proverbs 22:9 says He that has a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor. Proverbs 11:24 states, There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. My family and I believe these scriptures and it is our intention to scattereth the blessings He has bestowed upon us on the less fortunate of this world. That is the desire and mission of this foundation along with building houses, orphanages, health clinics, churches and any buildings that would assist Christian Bible believing missionaries in their work throughout the world.
The goal and vision of the Matthew 25:35 Foundation is to raise over 1 million dollars in the next 10 years and to build 20 new orphanages, churches, Bible colleges, schools and medical clinics. I am completely aware that without the Lord’s guidance and constant leading my greatest efforts will amount to little. It is my belief that He will direct who He wants to this site to read this and He will move upon the hearts of those He would have take action. I will make my effort to be faithful and do what I feel God is leading me to do. Proverbs 3:5,6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thy own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. I am committed to follow the Lord although my decisions might not always be agreed upon, and I am sure at times I will make mistakes. Maybe I am being too forward right now in making these statements and even sharing about what this foundation is trying to accomplish.
It is not my intention to let people know what I am doing for any kind of recognition but what the Lord is doing through me and the Matthew 25:35 Foundation and to draw attention to the many needs of the poor throughout the world and the tremendous work our missionaries are doing for the Lord to spread the gospel. Some people might feel it is improper to use my Real Estate site to draw people to this Foundation web site or even to mix Christianity with business. The way I see it is, all my success in Real Estate comes from the Lord, I cannot function in business without mentioning, giving credit to and bringing glory to the name of Jesus. John 3 v 27 says, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
As I have traveled around the world I have found that the average family in the countries I visit earn approximately $1,000 to $3,000 a year US currency. Many eat one or less meals per day. They live in one room shacks whether they are constructed of concrete block, mud and thatched construction or tin and scavenged garbage debris. On this site you can journey with us and see many photos depicting typical life of the poor families we work with. My goal is to use my business as a platform to bring attention to these needs and receive any outside donations possible. People may make monetary donations or donate Real Property. Either way all donations are tax deductible. Along with traveling to countries to make donations we periodically send containers by ship to the orphanage in Honduras and to missionaries in Haiti and the Philippines and packages to missionaries in Romania, New Zealand and Africa.
Finally, it is my desire to give people an opportunity to participate in this work not only in making donations, but to give them a life changing opportunity to travel on short term mission trips with our organization. Every trip I have been on has further changed and shaped the lives of my children and my life and has been exciting, fun and very rewarding. With no exception the missionaries, volunteer workers and the people we invest our lives in have been a pleasure to meet and have become new lifelong friends.
